TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. PURPOSE
Translators' Academy by LCT Lex City (hereinafter, "Translators' Academy") is an international learning and professional development community designed for advanced students, graduates, and professionals in translation, interpreting, language teaching, and related fields.
Its purpose is to promote continuing education, professional networking, academic exchange, and the development of competencies required for professional practice in both national and international settings.
Enrollment in and participation in Translators' Academy constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
2.1 Basic Membership (Free)
The Basic Membership allows members to:
Join the Translators' Academy community.
Participate in webinars and free activities organized by LCT Lex City.
Receive institutional communications.
Participate in open networking activities.
Access free informational content.
Participation in in-person events is subject to availability and prior confirmation.
2.2 Plus Membership
The Plus Membership is valid for one year.
It includes all Basic Membership benefits, plus:
30% discount on programs and training courses fully developed by LCT Lex City.
Priority access to selected academic activities.
Preferred access to practical workshops and specialized events.
Access to exclusive activities for Plus members.
Annual digital Active Member Certificate.
Annual Fee:
ARS 80,000 or the applicable fee published by LCT Lex City at the time of enrollment.
Maximum period of use: Three (3) years.
2.3 Premium Plus Membership
The Premium Plus Membership is valid for one year.
It includes all benefits available under the Basic and Plus Memberships, as well as:
Professional Development
Monthly group mentoring sessions.
Special professional guidance sessions.
Participation in small-group career development activities.
Professional Visibility
Inclusion in the Premium Members Professional Directory published by LCT Lex City.
Promotion of the member's professional profile within designated community spaces.
Opportunities to participate as a guest speaker or contributor in selected academic activities.
Academic Opportunities
Priority access to internships, pilot programs, and special projects.
Priority registration for courses with limited enrollment.
Access to exclusive events for Premium members.
Financial Benefits
Professional Recognition
Annual Fee:
ARS 150,000 or its equivalent in foreign currency at the applicable exchange rate on the date of payment, unless a special promotion is published by LCT Lex City.
3. TERM OF MEMBERSHIP
Plus and Premium Plus Memberships shall remain valid from the activation date until January 31 of the following year, unless a different term is expressly specified.
Memberships are personal, individual, and non-transferable.
4. DISCOUNTS AND BENEFITS
All discounts granted:
Are personal to the member.
May not be combined with other promotions unless expressly stated.
Are non-transferable.
May not be exchanged for cash.
Do not apply retroactively to previous purchases.
LCT Lex City reserves the right to offer additional promotional benefits at any time.
5. INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS
Membership discounts apply exclusively to the academic fees of programs developed or organized by LCT Lex City.
The following are expressly excluded:
International registration fees
Examination fees
Administrative fees
International certifications
Memberships in partner organizations
Fees charged by third parties
These amounts must be paid in full by participants.
6. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
All members must:
Use their real first and last name.
Maintain updated contact information.
Use an authentic profile photograph clearly identifying the individual.
Conduct themselves respectfully and professionally.
LCT Lex City may request additional documentation to verify identity whenever deemed necessary.
7. CODE OF CONDUCT
Members agree to:
Treat instructors, guest speakers, and fellow participants with respect.
Refrain from discriminatory, offensive, harassing, or intimidating behavior.
Not use the community for unauthorized advertising or spam.
Respect the confidentiality of information shared within the community.
Respect copyright and intellectual property rights.
Failure to comply may result in:

8. TRAINING ACTIVITIES AND INTERNSHIPS
All activities organized by Translators' Academy are educational and professional in nature.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content provided by LCT Lex City is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Without prior written authorization, members may not:

Reproduce
Distribute
Commercialize
Share
any materials, recordings, resources, or content provided through Translators' Academy.
10. REFUNDS
Memberships constitute access services to a professional and academic community.
Once a membership has been activated, payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly authorized by LCT Lex City.
11. DATA PROTECTION
Personal data shall be used exclusively for academic, administrative, and institutional communication purposes.
LCT Lex City undertakes to process such data confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
12. MODIFICATIONS
LCT Lex City reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions whenever necessary.
Any modifications shall be published through official channels and shall become effective upon publication.
13. ACCEPTANCE
Enrollment in Translators' Academy constitutes acknowledgment, understanding, and full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
